We completed the usual morning chores and sorted and packed our bags, readying for the bus ride back to Siem Reap. A last visit with Khamlin and Arun Rhea, some treats and a final photo op.

Lunch was served early and we were on the road around noon. Just a few hundred meters down the road, I realized that I had left my satchel on the lunch table and we had to turn back - I think all of us felt it was one more chance to say farewell to our home for the past week.

One by one our group dispersed at the airport, and various lodgings around the town. Jordan and I headed back to the Popular Boutique hotel and were able to get a room there for the night. We met up again with Pauline1, Elizabeth and Julie. Pauline had decided to get an elephant tattoo as a souvenir of her trip. And we all sat with her while it was being done. Afterwards we went for a celebratory fruit smoothie at one of the nearby stands and said our goodbyes.
The two of us had enrolled in a Cambodian cooking class for that evening at Le Tigre Papier and were more than impressed with the results, which we ate in the restaurant. A wander through the night market and we were ready to call it a day.
